Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums.

Yes, you can activate two copies of Nitro Pro on two different machines with the same serial.

Below is an extract from Nitro Pro's End User License Agreement (EULA):

You may install one copy of the Licensed Software on a single computer.

The primary user of the computer on which the Licensed Software is installed may install a second copy of the software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable computer or a computer located at his or her home, provided the software on the portable or home computer is not used at the same time as the software on the primary computer.

If Licensed Software includes multiple licenses, Licensee may install the number of copies licensed to Licensee by Nitro PDF Software.

No answer to this question. I have a desktop, laptop and tablet and would like to install on all three.

Hi guys,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

As per Erick's answer above, our End User License Agreement only allows you to install and activate Nitro Pro on up to 2 personal machines simultaneously. If you wish to install it on any further machines, you will need to purchase an additional copy of Nitro Pro.

If you require any additional assistance, please send us a support ticket. You can send a support ticket by following this link:

Stephen - seems as if this rule was made before people had more than two computers. Nitro should consider a better plan for one-at-a-time usage. Buying a second license for a third computer for $139.95 seems real steep and unnecessary.

I agree.  Even Microsoft allows multiple installs of Office now with Office 365 (5 copies PER USER with Small Business Premium).  Working in IT I have lots of devices - I use a BYOD desktop at work, a separate desktop at home, a backup PC, two laptops, an iPad, an iPhone... all only ever used by one user and all covered by an MS license.  These days just about everyone has two devices and three is increasingly common.  If you want to restrict it this far how about linking it to those with valid assurance (which I have)... I just can't and won't bring myself to paying an extra license for the extra PCs
